How many reviews do I need before I can apply?
Google requires a minimum of 50 product reviews across your catalog before they will approve you for the Product Ratings program. At least 3 reviews per individual product is also recommended for consistent visibility.
Do I need to apply to Google separately?
Yes. You need to submit a Product Ratings Interest Form in Google Merchant Center before you can add a review feed. Once approved (usually 1 to 2 business days), you can submit your Growave XML feed link.
Why does Google show an "Authentication failed" error after I add the feed?
This is normal. The Growave XML feed regenerates once per day, so if you just enabled the integration or changed settings, wait up to 24 hours for the file to generate. No username or password is required.
How long until star ratings appear on my listings?
After submitting the feed, Google reviews it for quality and policy compliance. If everything checks out, ratings typically start appearing in Google Shopping within 1 to 4 weeks.
